Special NHF/SMK Grant Request – MK Sea Cadets
Grant request from MK Sea Cadets to help fund the purchase of two Trinity 500 rowing boats. The club is expanding and they have insufficient boats for their existing cadets and cadets from other forces (e.g. Army, Air Force, etc) who want to use their facilities.
Many new members are from the MK Western Expansion area near to their base. This initiative will increase youth participation and leave a legacy for the city.
Total cost of the 2 boats is £6200.
Club has raised £2000. Balance required is £4200.
Grant awarded of £3050.
Club to fund the balance (£1150) on delivery of the boats.
